About Perdido Key, FL
Perdido Key means "Lost Key," named by the early Spanish who discovered it in 1693. Bridges link Perdido Key to the Florida mainland and neighboring Alabama. Those who visit the island will find beautiful beaches, turquoise water, friendly people, and a laid back lifestyle. Visit Johnson's Beach State Park, shop or dine at Villagio, listen to live music at The Purple Parrot Tiki Bar, or play a round of golf at Lost Key Golf and Beach Club. You can also make a short trip to neighboring Pensacola to watch a Blue Wahoos baseball game, climb the Pensacola Lighthouse, or visit the Naval Aviation Museum. If you're lucky, you might be able to catch the famous Navy F-18 Blue Angels in a practice flight!
